Michelle Lam
PacWIMA works with its members in raising the profile of #WIM in the region.
Michelle Lam is the President of Solomon Islands Women In Maritime Association (SIWIMA) and the Country General Manager for Silentworld Group in Honiara, Solomon Islands and supports the Solomon Islands Maritime Administration and works with the private sector to raise awareness and educate peers on women’s contribution in the maritime sector.
Michelle holds a Masters Degree in Marine Affairs from Dalhousie University in Canada, a Postgraduate Diploma in Marine pollution from the University of the South Pacific (USP) and has vast knowledge and network in the sector.
We recognise and value the critical role of women in maritime leaders like Michelle, in advancing #SDG5 in the sector.
