Faranisese Kinivuwai
Faranisese Kinivuwai is only one of three women in the Pacific who holds the position of Director of Transport. She is also the Legal Advisor to FIJI WIMA.
Faranisese has a Masters Degree in International Maritime Law with the IMO International Maritime Law Institute and has worked in the transport sector for more than 15 years, collaborating with stakeholders to maximise resources and keeping the public safe.
We appreciate women in maritime leaders like Faranisese who work with the private sector to ensure that #WIM remains on Governments agenda when advancing #SDG5.
